Using Heat Magic

Place Heat Magic in the Hoop with your fabric.	Stitch the embroidery design directly through the Heat Magic.
Tear away as much of the Heat Magic as possible when the embroidery is complete.	Touch the surface of the embroidery with a hot iron.
Beautiful embroidery results!

To use as a topping:

Place a piece of Heat Magic on the surface of the hooped item, bumpy side touching the fabric, and secure the outer corners with tape to prevent movement.
Complete the embroidery design.
Tear away as much of the Heat Magic as possible from around the design.
Place your heated iron directly on top of the embroidery to remove the excess stabilizer. Be sure your iron temp is at least 300°F (148°C).

To use as a stabilizer:

Place a piece Heat Magic within the hoop with the item to be embroidered. Use a piece at least one inch larger than the outer perimeter of the hoop and place the bumpy side of the stabilizer against the fabric.
Embroider the design.
Tear away as much of the Heat Magic from around the design as possible.
Place your heated iron directly on top of the embroidery to remove the excess stabilizer. Be sure your iron temp is at least 300°F (148°C).

*To clean your iron of any residue, heat the iron up to its highest temperature and move the irons surface back and forth over a wet towel firmly. Iron cleaners such as Dritz and Niagra work as well.
